Makoto, Japanese Tea Room – Chiswick London

This is a lovely Japanese tea & sweets selection from Makoto in Chiswick, London, where I helped Nowa Desgn san for their initial layout & design drawings for this cafe refurbishment project.

My local friend, Monica (originally from Chile) and I loved the pretty and original presentation such as traditional tea sets and green wall with dark brown timber decoration. Interior colour schemes came from the idea of green tea (matcha) and azuki beans combined with paper lantern pendant lights, which feels very cosy and generates a lovely Japanese atmosphere.
